Read MoreI had the privilege of joining three brilliant NZ authors, Raymond Huber, Raymond McGrath and Kelly Wilson (wild horse taming extraordinaire) on the September Storylines Tour of Auckland. Over the week, we visited 53 schools, libraries and venues, engaging with over 6246 students and adults. Phew! What a whirlwind of events. It was completely exhausting and completely wonderful all at the same time.

I think Amy Daoud has somehow managed to make the ARC cover as alluring and mysterious as the final print cover that will be released in November! Check out those claw marks.

I felt so incredibly honoured to be invited to speak by State Library Victoria, star struck by the authors in attendance, inspired by the keynote addresses and “at home” with my people: writers/readers/book lovers.
